Jagiellonians

The Jagiellonians were a ruling dynasty descended from the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. In addition to Lithuania, they also ruled the Kingdom of Poland (1385-1572), the Lands of the Bohemian Crown (1471-1526) and the Kingdom of Hungary (1490-1526). The first documented ruling member of the dynasty was the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas. The Bohemian-Hungarian branch of the family died out after the sword in 1526 by Louis Jagiellon, the Polish-Lithuanian branch in 1572 by Sigismund II. Augustus.
