The Past Lane, a genealogy research service, is based in Wayne County, Ohio a county on a migration route from Pennsylvania westward. Some people chose to stay in Wayne County, others stayed for awhile and then moved on. The main focus of my research is in Wayne County and the counties surrounding Wayne, namely Ashland, Holmes, Medina, Stark and Summit Counties.
